Z ramienia koła prowadzone są na Politechnice wykłady, wprowadzające w tematykę algorytmów sztucznej inteligencji. Kurs rozpoczął się w semestrze letnim 2023 i poruszamy na nim takie podstawowe pojęcia jak gradient, algorytmy optymalizacji, klasyfikacji czy regresji oraz miary jakości klasyfikacji. Staramy się wprowadzać słuchaczy w zawiłości świata AI krok po kroku - tłumacząc podstawy matematyczne oraz wyrabiając u nich intuicje. Atmosfera na wykładach jest dość luźna - studenci zadają pytania, rozwiązują zadania, rozmawiamy. Wykłady są też nagrywane i udostępniane wszystkim członkom koła. Zarówno studenci live, jak i ci oglądający nagrania, otrzymują ćwiczenia do pracy samodzielnej w postaci zadań matematycznych lub informatycznych.
On behalf of our scientific club, lectures on the topic of artificial intelligence algorithms are being conducted at the Wrocław University of Technology. The course started in the summer semester of 2023 and covers basic concepts such as gradient, optimization algorithms, classification and regression, as well as quality measures for classification. We aim to guide our course participants step by step through the complexities of the AI world, explaining the mathematical basics and developing their intuition. The atmosphere in the lectures is quite relaxed, with students asking questions, solving problems, and engaging in discussions. The lectures are also recorded and made available to all members of the scientific club. Both live students and those watching the recordings are given exercises for independent work in the form of mathematical or computer tasks.
